Prospective members will be invited to attend our Recruitment Social, held each year in August. Prospective members must notify the JLEC if they wish to accept their invitation.

The provisional training course has two options. One course begins in September and runs through December and the second begins in January and runs through May.  The training year culminates in our annual May dinner are inducted as active member. The two courses allows for more flexibility for prospective members to join.

An online membership proposal may be submitted at anytime.  If you do not have a sponsor or know anyone in the league, please still submit a form and someone will contact you. Click here to access the membership form.

Provisional Year

The first year of membership is called your Provisional Year and during this year you will participate in a structured but flexible program designed to teach you about the Junior League of the Emerald Coast. Your Provisional Course will give you a broad-based view of the JLEC - its structure and organization, the community organizations we service, our business opportunities to raise money for the community, and how to become an effective and trained volunteer. There are also numerous opportunities for socialization with other members.
