Provisional project results: Provisionals visited two assisted living facilities. They played board games, painted flower pots, planted flowers, gave manicures and hand massages, ice cream sundaes and brought a few dogs for the residents to pet and enjoy. It was a lot of fun!

Fill out your top three choices and we will try very hard to place you in one of your picks. If you do not submit a placement request, we will place you based on JLEC needs. Submit your form!
Presentation of JLEC Budget 2008-2009 for review - Carrie Chavers, President–Elect
Members will vote on the budget at the May Dinner.Budget will be posted online at jlec.org for review.
Discussion: We have money set aside for the Gulfview balloon payment. Question was raised if we have considered renegotiating the loan payment to save money.Our accountant has advised against this; however, Angela Balent (past president and accountant) will be asked to look into this issue.
Motion to approve the JLEC policy changes as presented at the March GMM – Beth Marks, VP Retention. Motion seconded. Membership voted. With 44 voting active members, the motion passed unanimously.
Review membership requirements 2008-2009
Communications Council- Caroline Bogue, VP- Elect
We will be converting to Digital Cheetah – a web based league management tool beginning the 2008-2009 League year. This is a powerful tool that will streamline League operations and give us more control over both internal and external website control. AJLI uses Digital Cheetah as do JL of Philadelphia, Charleston, and many other Junior Leagues.
