JLEC charity recipient of 2010 Best of the Emerald Coast Event
We are now accepting sponsorship applications for the 2010 Best of the Emerald Coast event.
The Best of the Emerald Coast (BOEC) is an event showcasing the area's best of the best as voted by readers of Emerald Coast Magazine. Featured are businesses such as best gift shop, best local retailer, best Mexican restaurant, and best Buffalo Wings.
The event will be October 16th, 6pm-9pm at Destin Commons. The entire mall becomes a festival featuring all of the Best of the Emerald Coast winners.
You can sample the best each of these establishments has to offer and take home some great gifts. Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the door.

Child Clothing
Every year, the JLEC purchases clothing for elementary school aged children. Our project is held in the fall at a local major retailer. We raise funding to support this project throughout the year through our Beach Appetit cookbook sales, fundraisers, and private donations. Our Child Clothing project has a separate bank account, so 100% of the funds donated are directed to clothing the children.
